Support the Teel Family

We are reaching out to our Deer Park community to support Mrs. Teel, a beloved Fairmont Elementary teacher, during a time of need. Mrs. Teel was diagnosed with ductal carcinoma, a form of breast cancer, in December. For those of you who do not know her story, Mrs. Teel grew up in our community and attended Fairmont Elementary as a child. After receiving her teaching degree, she returned to the school that helped build her and has dedicated her life to educating our children. Two of her four precious children also join her here at Fairmont. Her husband, Tyler, also gives back to our community by working as a special education teacher at Deer Park High School - South campus. On February 5, Mrs. Teel underwent her first surgery and at least one more is expected in the future. Currently, her family is awaiting further information regarding whether she will require chemotherapy and radiation treatments. With serious medical concerns, come mountains of medical bills. We are asking for support to help her family through this tough time and through to the other side. Any amount you can give will make a big difference. The funds raised will go directly towards her medical expenses, helping to alleviate the financial burden on her family during this challenging time.
