Hello everyone,

Thank you for taking the time to read our story. For over a year now Jeff has been fighting an internal infection from a leak in the bladder. This resulted in six hospital stays, the longest being 72 days, and seven surgeries. As a result of the surgeries, this led to the needed healing of a very large open wound.

A wound VAC was required to help close these wounds. This resulted in the requirement of Home Healthcare and purchasing of additional medical supplies, not covered under insurance, for daily care.

We have been trying to keep up with the pile of bills and expenses from this unexpected event, however, inflation and utility cost increases have steadily been making an impact on our finances. Now my 21-year-old Durango has a few dashboard lights on that need attention. As the primary vehicle to get me to and from Dr appointments, it is high on the list.
