My ferret Roscoe has been the light of my life ever since he came into my life two years ago. He was my boyfriend’s ferret but I instantly fell in love with him and created a special bond and connection with him. He’s been my emotional support and best friend. He’s the sweetest, most relaxed and chill ferret you will ever meet, everyone who meets him falls in love with him. Recently, he’s gained some weight and it’s shown really just on his lower belly area. I took him to the vet and very well my worst fear came true, it is a tumor, most likely a cancerous one. The blood work and surgery to remove the tumor is around $3k and as a broke college student who just graduated and is awaiting taking my state boards, I have no job at the moment and am flat broke. The doctor told me that it doesn’t seem to have spread anywhere else (yet) and if it is removed, it could save him and have him live a long and normal life. Please, please help me save him. I know he seems like just a ferret, but he isn’t. He’s an actual angel and deserves so much more than getting put to sleep, he still has so much time left.
