**Hello, everyone.**

As many of you know, I was blessed to welcome the most incredible gift into my life last year: my beloved rescue pup, Lola. She came into my life from the bustling streets of the Downtown Eastside, and our connection was instant—love at first sight. Lola has transformed my world in ways I can't fully express, filling my days with joy, laughter, and unconditional love. We truly believe we were meant to find each other.

But today, my heart is heavy. Lola had an accident while playing in the yard. She got into a plant planter and sustained a severe cut. At first, I thought it wasn’t too serious and thought it was only in the crack of her lip, but after cleaning her up, she lay down looked like she was ok.. When I returned to work, she was left with my boyfriend, shortly after I left, she woke up yelping, shaking, covered in hives was bleeding again.. After work

We took her to the vet immediately, where they had to sedate her for a thorough examination. The news was devastating: her injury was far worse than I had imagined, with a deep cut at the base of her tongue. I can't express how heart-wrenching it was to see her in pain, and them to see how bad the actualy cut was, it looked horrific.. I broke down at the thought of losing her.

The vet has advised that she needs deep stiches and surgery, and while I want to do everything in my power to bring her home and help her recover, I am currently facing financial challenges. To be able to get her the urgent care she needs, I must come up with the funds for her surgery and overnight stay before I get her back, plus pain medication and antibiotics and soft food while she heals..

That’s why I am humbly reaching out for help. If you can contribute anything, no matter how small, it would mean the world to me. Bringing Lola home is my top priority, and with your support, I hope to make that possible.
