For the past 4 years, the cost of the fireworks has ranged from $7,000-$9,000. Total donations collected has been in the range of $1000-$1600 which is significantly less then what the cost has been. A handful of members have made up the difference in donating an additional $5000-$7000 from their own pocket to make the show as good as it has been in the past.
This year, we are trying to spread out the responsibility of raising more money per member so the large deficient doesn't fall on the shoulders of a handful of people. We are asking that you help spread the word to as many people as you can and donate generously this year. Ideally if 20% of the members donate a minimum $50, we will reach and hopefully exceed our goal of $5000.00.
If you can't donate a minimum of $50, hopefully members can contribute whatever fits their budget. Something is better than nothing and every donation counts no matter how large or small!
Thank you for your support and we look forward to another great 4th of July weekend and awesome fireworks display.
