Jacob Black and Family

Kortney Merrell is organizing this fundraiser on behalf of Taren Black.

Hello! We are, Kassidy and Kortney, cousins to Taren Black. We came together to create this fundraiser for Jacob and Taren to help in anyway during Jacob’s treatments.

Jacob, husband and daddy to 2 young girls, is currently battling stage 4 cancer and undergoing chemo and proton therapy treatments in hopes he will become a surgical candidate in the coming months. While he may have a long road ahead, we are so thankful for modern medicine and the hope we have in it. We are also immensely grateful to every single human that has and continues to reach out and help us navigate this process with all the positivity. -The Blacks
