Our Lady's School Expansion Fund

Our Lady's Catholic School founded in 1954  in Sulphur, Louisiana is a non-profit school. We are first and foremost, a Catholic School. Children are immersed in the Liturgical life of the Church.  We are 100% privately-funded. Tuition and fees only cover a portion of our operating expenses each year. The school has experienced substantial growth over the last few years and is in need of additional classroom space as well as a school gymnasium. We are optimistic that our school will continue to grow due to the expansion of the industries in our area of the state. Our current enrollment for the 2015-2016 school year is 262 students in PK3 - 8th grade. Enrollment has increased 27% in the last five years. We currently borrow a local public school's gym when we host basketball games and have very limited practice time for both our girls and boys basketball teams. 


 It has been a long-time dream of families and stakeholders of Our Lady's Catholic School to have a gymnasium at our school. Currently, OLS has raised nearly $400,000 toward this expansion project. The need for this project is to stabilize our school and attract new families with appealing facilities. Also, it would enable us to utilize our own gym for tournaments, practice, community events, and physical education classes. We would like to accelerate the pace at which this project has progressed over the last 20 years. Contributions on this account will allow for OLS to undertake this project.
