Help Donna’s Road to Recovery!

Hello, my name is Caitlyn Viccaro, I am the daughter of Donna Viccaro!

In the early hours of Wednesday, December 27th, only one day after Christmas, she was brutally stabbed 7 times by someone who will remain unnamed, that someone is currently facing attempted murder charges!

Donna was able to call an ambulance and was brought to a local trauma center where they rushed her into emergency, life saving surgery!

She miraculously survived through 7 stab wounds to the chest, a broken clavicle, internal bleeding and massive lung injuries! Although she was not and is not currently completely out of the woods, she is off of the ventilator and TALKING! Albeit not very much because of the lung injury and chest tubes but it’s progress in the right direction!

My mother, Donna Viccaro, is the absolute strongest woman I know. She had a run in with death not once but TWICE in two years, previously having survived a blood disorder called TTP.

This time, however, the road to recovery will be long and I alone cannot support her financially, which is why she has asked me to make this fundraiser for her, until we can figure out how to get her finances flowing again during the 8-12 months of recovery and rehab time coupled with a lifetime of mental and physical support after the trauma!

Anything helps! Anything helps! I’m doing everything in my power to put things in motion that will allow me to be there for her entire recovery process.
