Hello, my name is Chanella Monroe. In the next month or 2, I will be donating my left kidney to my oldest brother Roger Monroe Jr. “aka” BooBoo, who has been waiting on a kidney for 6 years. He was diagnosed with kidney failure in 2015. I was elated to learn that I was a match & eligible to donate to him. I want to see my brother live a lot longer. Booboo’s kidneys are only functioning at 3%. He has been hospitalized quite a few times over the years, not able to urinate at times, being placed on dialysis, out of work from time to time & recently had open heart surgery.
