Ava Strong

Ava Louise Hawbaker is intelligent, loving, funny, bubbly... and most recently, a patient at The Milwaukee Children's Hospital fighting Leukemia. The diagnosis came out of nowhere and almost immediately, the helpers were here. We are asking you to be part of that helping team!

Ava Lou is fortunate enough to have her mom (Chelsea Sallese), Dad (Andy Hawbaker) and Step-Dad (Anthony Sallese) ready to fight by her side every minute of every day. Unfortunately, this means that work schedules and commitments will have to take a back burner. Understandably so, this will cause a major strain on the income of each household.

A very important part of their family values stem from volunteerism and doing what they can do to give back to their community. We are asking you to help us return the favor. In doing so, you will directly be relieving some of the many stresses that comes with a diagnosis like Ava's.
