Hello, I’m Robin, and this is my cat Merlin. He is a senior cat and needs urgent surgery to remove his teeth as he has a painful gum disease. Whenever he eats, it causes him pain and discomfort and it’s heartbreaking to see. He’s currently on anti-inflammatory medication to help manage the pain but he desperately needs surgery so he can be comfortable again.

I can’t currently afford it as I’ve been out of work due to illness myself and we’ve been hit with other unexpected costs. So I’ve started this fundraiser as a last resort.

Merlin is such a delight and has such a mischievous, fighting spirit. Even now, despite his pain, he still loves to play and run up and down the garden and relax with his best friend Arthur (the ginger cat). He has so much life in him and I want to see him comfortable again, but he needs emergency surgery quickly as he’s getting worse.
