SEAN MUNIZ

Our son Sean Muniz was killed in a roll over accident on Highway 285 and S. Turkey Rd. on August 15, 2015. This is such a devastating blow to our family, friends, and community. Sean was such a big part of our family core and it has been so hard this past 7 weeks. No one can ever just move on from such a tragedy and that is why we want to be the voice for our son.
This incident has affected so many families, the Barela family, Salas family, Gonzalez family, Norris family, Ferguson family, Garcia family, Martinez family, Gallegos family, Manzanares-Benevidez family and the Muniz family.
Sean was a young 22 years old. He is a High School Graduate from Alameda High School in Lakewood Colorado. He attended Cole college for one year on a basketball scholarship, for basketball was his life. Always having a ball in his hand bouncing it inside the house no matter how many times we told him not to. That was just Sean.
Sean was almost done with all requirements to be able to join the Coast Guard next spring. Now that is not possible...but he will live through us. His mom and dad Sonia Barela and Gary Barela, his sisters Sianna Barela, Breonna Barela and his little brothers Malaki Barela, Evan Barela, Andrew Muniz, Andre Muniz and R.J. Muniz miss and love him dearly.
