edit sorry about the lack of information this is not something I expected to be doing so I forgot some important information. My mom Nellie Pineda passed on Saturday July 12 at 525 pm at memorial hospital. She was employed at natividad hospital for over 25 years in the housekeeping department. My mom was a diabetic for years and recently her health started to decline due to complications related to her diabetes. Approximately three months ago she was taken to memorial hospital and had to have partial amputation of her foot from there she was placed at a rehabilitation center so that she could get the physical therapy she needed in order for me to be able to bring her home and continue to care for her. Unfortunately her health began to decline at a rapid pace. The hospital contacted me on Monday to inform me I needed to get to the hospital quickly as they didn’t see her making it through the night. It was that day that I had to make some of the hardest decisions I have ever had to make. I did what I think she would have wanted and opted out of any machines forcing her to remain in pain. I was at her bedside the entire time until she took her last breath. I’m reaching out in hopes this will reach those that knew her and could possibly donate to the go fund me.
