My friend recently opened her heart and home to a rescue dog named Walter, who quickly became very sick. After just 10 days, he had two vet visits and a hospital stay. Walter was diagnosed with pancreatitis and a hiatal hernia, which may require surgery. He also needs BOAS and nasal surgery to help with his breathing.
