We recently lost our father to Stage 4 Liver and Colon Cancer.

Hugo Ortiz was an outstanding motivator, provider, and role model. He was most importantly a loving devoted father to his children. He supported his children through thick and thin and showered them with unconditional love. Whenever we needed anything, we knew that we could count on our dad. But not only was he a great father! He was also a great grandfather, an amazing husband and son.

Our father was the glue that kept our family together. The loss of our father has been extremely drastic and sudden. The way our lives have changed in such a short period of time is very challenging.  

 

Our dad did not have health insurance forcing him to work twice as hard to be able to pay for his Chemotherapy treatments twice a month to help him fight the Cancer. Initially, we were told that our dad would have at least three years to undergo therapy to try to beat this cancer. We knew that there was a possibility that he would not beat it. But we never expected for us to lose our dad within a few months of him being diagnosed. Cancer destroyed my father's health, physical image, and ability to live. Our father was never the one to ask for help. Because "he was given two hands to work" as he would always say. 

 

Unfortunately, our dad did not have life insurance benefits to cover the cost of burial or his medical expenses.

Our dad was a dedicated and loving father, and we hope to be able to return the love we received from him by giving him an honorable service. Therefore, we created this GoFundMe for our Family and Friends who would like to donate to our family to help us give our sweet father a proper homegoing ceremony.

Esta petición es por parte de mi familia en general, mis hermanos, mi madre y yo.

 

Mi padre fue un hombre muy trabajador y responsable dando hasta sus últimos días de salud en su trabajo para dermis un techo seguro, y más allá de eso. Al no tener la posibilidad de un seguro de salud tuvo que esforzarse en l doble para poder pagar de su ingreso sus tratamientos de quimioterapia dos veces al mes. Su pérdida es muy repentina, sabíamos que pasaría más no que fuera en un par de meses. El cancer de hígado acabo con su salud, su imagen física y su capacidad de trabajar en en lapso de dos meses, jamás fue un hombre de molestar a nadie ni pedir nada tenía dos manos para trabajar como el decía y e Ake ejemplo más grande que pudo dejarnos.

 

Pero como nunca s está completamente preparado ni para la muerte ni para los gastos estábamos pidiendo de su apoyo la meta son $14,000 dólares para todos los gastos de funeral

 

Cualquier donación por más pequeña que sea tiene el mismo valor que la más grande. Muchos lo conocerieron oh tal ves no pero confiamos en DIOS que moverá el corazón para todo aquel que desee donar.
