Thank you for taking the time to visit this page. My name is Maria and I'm here to help out my boyfriend, Sergio Archila. After dealing with back pain, constant headaches, and what seemed like multiple masses in his lower abdominal area, Sergio entered the ER at Kaiser Permanente Hospital on September 29, 2020. On October 5, 2020, we got the devastating news Sergio was diagnosed with Stage II non-seminoma. The same day Sergio was diagnosed, Kaiser said they would not be able to carry out treatment there due to lack of insurance, even though he applied for emergency Medical. Fortunately, we were able to find a place where Sergio can carry out treatment, at UCLA HEALTH. We have faith UCLA HEALTH will provide Sergio with the best care. Sergio will be starting chemo treatment later this month of October. Due to not being able to work, we are asking for funds to help Sergio reduce financial stress.
Sergio is the type of person to never ask anyone for help, he has a big heart and is always willing to help others. Please help us out as we embark on this journey. If you’re not able to contribute, we would appreciate a share, or just any prayers for Sergio’s health. #SergioStrong

Gracias por tomarse el tiempo de visitar esta página. Mi nombre es María y estoy aquí para ayudar a mi novio, Sergio Archila. Después de lidiar con dolor de espalda, dolores de cabeza constantes y lo que parecían múltiples masas en la parte inferior del abdomen, Sergio ingresó a la sala de emergencias en el Hospital Kaiser Permanente el 29 de Septiembre de 2020. En el 5 de Octubre de 2020, recibimos la devastadora noticia que a Sergio lo diagnosticaron con Stage II non-seminoma. El mismo día que le diagnosticaron a Sergio, Kaiser dijo que no podrían realizar el tratamiento allí por falta de seguro, a pesar de que solicitó el servicio médico de emergencia. Afortunadamente, pudimos encontrar un lugar donde Sergio pueda realizar el tratamiento, en UCLA HEALTH. Tenemos fe en que UCLA HEALTH brindará a Sergio la mejor atención. Sergio comenzará el tratamiento de quimioterapia a finales de este mes de Octubre. Debido a que no puede trabajar, estamos solicitando fondos para ayudar a Sergio a reducir el estrés financiero.
Sergio es el tipo de persona que nunca le pide ayuda a nadie, pero el tiene un gran corazón y siempre está dispuesto a ayudar a los demás. Ayúdenos en estos momentos dolroso. Si no puede contribuir, le agradeceríamos que compartan, o una oración por la salud de Sergio. #SergioStrong
