Support for Nathan Garcia and family
Donation protected
My nephew Nathan was in a horrific car accident on Monday Decmeber 11, 2023 at around 8:45 pm. Nathan is an incredible young man. His life before the accident consist of wrestling, football, school, church, spending time with his family, and friends. He is well loved by everyone. He spent the last summer of this year in the forestry service, and graduated with honors. He is a gentle caring young man whos family loves him very much. Nathan has a 4 year old baby sister named Amelia, whom he loves very much, he is such a great big bro bro, as she calls him.
This tragic event has left us with no idea what obsticals he, his mother and father will face in the future. On the night of the accident he was rushed to Marshall hospital in Placerville where they discovered many critical injuries both internal and external. He underwent two surgeries, one was for the removal of damaged internal tissue, the second was for a punctured lung from three broken ribs and a broken sternum, due to the damage from the seatbelt. When he was stable enough to transfer he was transfered to UC Davis medical center. Since Monday night he has undergone 5 more surgeries. There are multiple trauma teams there for Nathan, and doing everything they can. They have truly been amazing. Trauma critical care team, Vascular team, neurology team, neurological surgery team, thoracic team. At this point we are not sure how long or bumpy this road will be for nephew, my sister, and brother-in-law. At this time I am making this go fund me to help support with all they have ahead of them. Every little bit helps even if all you can do is pray. Help us reach as many people as possible by sharing. Juan and Alicia would like to thank the Ponderosa high school wrestling family, and Kyle and Kellie lazon for their previous donations.
