Susan's Medical Recovery

Hi, my name is Brandy and my mom was recently admitted for emergency surgery on Thanksgiving Night. For the past week, she has been in the ICU and we are unsure when she will be moved to general patient care. This past week has been one of the most emotional in a while, causing a lot of stress and struggles for my family.

My mom raised my brother and I, always doing whatever possible to keep us on our feet and living a comfortable life despite the struggles we have been through. She has a long road ahead of her, which includes not working for several weeks and having no income to cover any monthly expenses. Lifting this financial burden for her in any way will help her focus on getting healthy.

Susan has worked in the school system for the majority of her life, dedicating every day to serve breakfast and lunch to children. She has taken on secondary jobs to help support her family along the way. As kids, she always found a way to keep us involved in our extra-curricular activities, despite the high costs. She found a way, while working two jobs, to be at all of my dance competitions and all of my brother's robotics

competitions. She has always welcomed her home to all our friends, cooking them dinners and offering great hospitality. She is a hardworking and strong woman and deserves to be at peace with her finances and focus on her recovery.
