UPDATE: WOW! We hit the goal in 12 hours! I'm genuinely so amazed. Thank you so much for all the outpourings of generosity and kindness not only in donations but in sharing my video on socials and sending me messages. I appreciate it so much.

I can see the donations are still coming in. I will use some extra money for accessories for the chair, and anything else leftover I'll be donating to a disabled charity. So do keep donating if you wish! Maybe we can help some other people.

Hey pals. I've been getting progressively sicker since 2020 and in 2025 I barely left the house due to overwhelming fatigue, sickness, and pain. I've been using a stick for the last two years which helps a lot, but it's not always enough.

Despite that, I still felt I wasn't "disabled enough" for a wheelchair - until this week when I was told I might have a really rare bone marrow cancer.

Whether this diagnosis gets confirmed or not, it has given me the kick up the arse to know that I deserve to leave my house to go on day trips without having to come home early or push through and be exhausted. Life is too short!

Due to my hypermobility and chronic pain, I can't use a self propelled manual wheelchair safely, which means someone (Ben) would have to push me around everywhere... And I don't want that. I want to be independent.

Sadly, you get what you pay for with wheelchairs and one that will suit my needs costs around £1,000 (it's the one in the photo!)

If you can help, I'd be so appreciative. It would really help me get out of the house and enjoy myself more!
