8 yr old Travis fight against ALD

Travis was born on December 24th, 2010 at 11:46 pm just minutes from being a Christmas Baby. I always considered him the best Christmas Gift I have ever received.
I never thought in a million years I would need a gofundme for Our 8 year old child. Unfortunately that time has come .
Our family got the most devastating news parents could ever imagine....our sweet baby Travis has a genetic terminal illness!
Travis was diagnosed with Adrenoleukodysthrophy. This disease is ugly and just down right mean. It destroys his brain cells and due to it he will lose all function. Travis will be seeing God at a very young age. This disease is progressing pretty fast in his brain.
His Dr told us that he may have a year left of life but it could be months that he enters a vegetative state. He already lost most of his hearing and has a hard time walking. They believe that his sight is next. Our hearts have been shattered! I want my baby to be okay. I keep telling myself I'm in a very bad dream. Why is life so unfair? He's such a good kid! But for whatever reason God wants to call him home.
We will need support to make these few months a lifetime for Travis! The support will also help us make his transition as comfortable as possible and as hard as it is to say to handle the post-battle needs.
