Trinity's Fight

Hi, I'm Renata Baker.

April 10, 2025, marks the day my life was irrevocably changed. My family and I were excitedly traveling to Panama City, FL, ready to embrace the joys of our Spring Break vacation. However, our anticipation turned into unimaginable heartbreak when we were struck from behind by a speeding truck. In the blink of an eye, our family was shattered, and our hopes for a joyful getaway were replaced by an overwhelming struggle for survival. This catastrophic collision took the life of my precious 9-year-old daughter, Zoei, in an instant, and left my 12-year-old daughter, Trinity, in critical condition, fighting for her life.

Trinity was airlifted to the children's hospital in Pensacola, FL, where she suffered critical head trauma due to the accident. We know that Trinity has a long road ahead in her recovery, but we remain hopeful for her healing.

Our family is facing the challenges of medical bills, treatment, lost wages, and travel expenses from Atlanta, GA, to Pensacola, FL. Now, we must live with the heartache of this tragedy. This event serves as a stark reminder of the fragility of life and the devastating impact of reckless driving.
