Steve Hehn Memorial Fund

This is a memorial fund for Steve Hehn who recently passed away after a courageous battle with cancer. Steve's greatest joy in life was spending time with his loving family. Steve adored his wife Carol, and thetwo of them loved their driving trips together around the country. Steve and Carol raised a remarkable family. They have three children, Jennifer, Joe and Nick. Nick and his wife Linda are the proud parents of Calvin, Steve and Carol’s first grandchild, who is the apple of their eyes. Joe and Suzy recently moved back to Chicago to be with family and are expecting their first child in January.

Steve and Carol's other joy is spending time with their extended family, with whom they celebrated many happy occasions. He was adored by his entire family.

Steve was admired for his many skills - he was a true master carpenter, and a jack of all trades. He could fix anything. Steve was a great friend to his fellow tradesmen, and to the many homeowners whose homes he helped build and maintain. He took care of our homes with great attention to detail, never taking short cuts; Steve was born with the skilled hands of a surgeon. It was a true honor for all of us to have worked with such a special and talented person.

Steve will be in our thoughts forever.
