Kaitlyn graduated with First Honors from Salesian College Prep with a 4.2 GPA and will attend Cal State LA in the fall. Her dream is to be the first person in her family to graduate from college and to become a dental hygenist. After financial aid, Kaitlyn's tuition will be $14,000/year, which does not include books or incidental expenses. She has already saved up $5,000 working full-time during the summer and collecting recyclables. Kaitlyn will work throughout college to pay her tuition, but she could use as much help as possible, which is why we created this GoFundMe for her. We all know Kaitlyn to be an extremely hard-working, intelligent, selfless young woman. She has spent her summer working to help low-income families facing eviction due to the pandemic.
