Hello everyone!I am looking for some help getting through until I'm approved for social security disability insurance.I've healed and grown a lot since my first break from work in January 2017, but being fired illegally certainly didn't help my recovery.I've had to take some time off 2 times since then, once in February 2018, and since September 25th this year.My current employer is awesome and wants me to get better whatever that means for me.They've also been happy to work with me on my schedule and adjust as needed. I haven't been able to work more than very part time since late 2018, and even less since early this year.I love my job and want to keep working as much as possible, but I cannot survive on 12-15 hours a week, nor will I continue to receive medicaid, as that is considerably less than the 80hrs/month requirement.I am in the process of applying for social security disability, but as countless people have told me, I will be denied the first time, no matter what.
