Helping Tammy
Donation protected
Hi... My name is Amanda. I am the daughter of Tammy Michael. Tammy is a beloved employee of The Wash Dog in Seattle, Washington and has been a dog groomer to many Seattle dogs over the span of twenty years. She recently fell down some outside stairs while moving boxes into a new living space, breaking both her wrists and lacerating her head. Her injuries are severe and she will be unable to work for an unknown amount of time, leaving her financial situation uncertain, as well as medical bills to pay as she has been referred to an orthopedic surgeon to evaluate the extent of the damage done.
My mother Tammy is well known in West Seattle, White center and Burien, Washington for her skills and wonderful ways of working with dogs, including those with a history of trauma by giving them a safe, positive experience and an adorable haircut. My mother needs her wrists and hands to continue to love these dogs as she has for so many years. Her injuries have made it impossible for her to support herself and pay medical bills for next few months, leaving myself, her daughter as the sole caretaker of her for the time being. Any funds received will be used to pay out-of-pocket medical bills and living expenses for her until her wrists are able to handle her scissoring skills and she can work again. Please consider donating to help my amazing mother get back on her feet.
