The Garcia Family-Flood Relief

Hi, my name is Jenny, a friend and coworker of Veronica Garica, and we are asking for fundraising for the Garcia Family.

On New Year’s Day, Veronica, Isai, and their two boys, Elijah and Max, woke up to a flooded home. The relentless storm that hit the Bay Area caused water to rush into their home, covering the entire house with more than a foot of water, damaging all of their furniture, appliances, belongings and sentimental items. They have already had the daunting task of pulling up all their floors and will soon have to begin cutting out drywall to prevent the water from rising and causing mold growth. They have a long road ahead of them and we would like to ease some of the stress. The Garcia family is looking for help to cover a rental fee, repairs, and home goods. At the moment they are paying for all their repairs out of pocket.

It is not easy to maintain a modest life in the Bay Area due to the cost of living, and when an unexpected tragedy hits, it can often be impossible to recover without the grace of others.
