This year—2025—has been filled with many health challenges.

We started with my husband having an infection from surgery, to losing ABA for my son, to having multiple surgeries myself, which included an emergency surgery to save my hand from a spreading infection.

Thankfully, we have health insurance, but it has a very high deductible. The insurance has deemed a very needed surgery for me to repair a badly separated abdominal muscle. This is not cosmetic at all. It is key for me to be able to handle my two special needs kiddos as they get bigger and older.

This surgery will require some downtime with paying for extra health care providers for my kids.
