Keep Ringstar Going During the Pandemic!

It's a familiar story now: like many businesses, we've had to close our doors to help prevent the spread of COVID-19. We absolutely believe this is the right thing to do (we actually closed a few days before the mandatory shut down), but our landlord still expects the rent to be paid, and now of course we're not making any money. 

We've already had some extremely generous donations from our patrons, and we're so grateful to those of you who have reached out with your support, financially or otherwise. We've applied for a grant, and we're investigating our options with loans, but in the meantime we're asking our community for your help in staying afloat for the next couple of months.

Our previous goal of just under one month's rent was quickly met, and we couldn't be more grateful. While the future remains hazy at best, despite the current stay at home order being set to expire on April 30th, we're skeptical that we'll be open again in May. As such, we've decided to extend the goal of our fundraiser to cover another month's rent. We thought it would be reasonable to give ourselves two months to make our original goal, so we're thrilled that your support has made working to cover future bills a possibility. 

We don't know how long this crisis will last, but while it does we are leaning on our community for assistance in anticipation of that wonderful day when we can open the doors and let everyone get moving again.
