Emergency Surgery
Donation protected
In honor of my birthday, instead of doing one of the sponsored donations on Facebook I am doing this, which hits really close to home. One of my best friend's Ian Astor, went into the hospital and was admitted on August 20th with a really bad infection in his big toe. He underwent an MRI on August 21st and was told he had a really bad bacterial infection. He was told he can be released, but would need to be on iv antibiotics for about eight weeks. He was released on August 24th. Couple of days passed and he was admitted back to the hospital on August 31st, because his toe got much worse. Turns out the second MRI and ultrasound showed that the bacterial infection was more extensive. His big toe is now dead and the pinky toe now has the infection in it. The bacterial infection was eating away at his bones. He will need to lose all his toes and will not be able to walk for about a month. He will definitely need help paying for his medical bills and his physical rehab costs. Any amount you can give or contribute would be greatly appreciated.
