Mental Health Packages

This summer, Philadelphia and King of Prussia high school students participated in workshops that focused on how to be an activist. After learning the basics of activism, it was time for them to try it out themselves. They choose to focus on the topic of mental health and how they can help their fellow classmates with mental health issues. One way these students plan to help their fellow classmates is by raising money to distribute mental health packages. Mental health packages are packages made with love, in order for students with mental health issues to cope with their situation. These packages will show students that they are not alone and to not be afraid to reach out for help. Inside these packages are: mental health journal (with writing prompts and mental health tips and tricks), inside the journal we will hand write positive + inspirational quotes, stress ball, mints and fruit flavored candy and paper and website pamphlets with tips and local resources. With $5,000 four schools (The City School--Poplar Campus, Central High School, Academy At Palumbo and Upper Merion Area High School) will receive 80 packages each! Concluding to a total of 320 packages! We hope to raise enough money to help our community. After all, to be healthy as a whole your mental health plays a vital role. **THE LAST DAY TO DONATE IS DECEMBER 11TH!**
