Ebony May and her Mum have Cancer

Donation protected

In May of 2015, Our daughter Ebony was diagnosed with Pancreatic Cancer. (Neuroendocrine Tumors) This Cancer has spread to her liver and some lymph nodes around that particular area. It is very rare for a child to get it. It is a slow moving thing and she could have even been born with it! It normally shows signs around the age of 60 when it is too late for most. This particular cancer (like lots of others) does not show any symptoms until it is too late to do much about - that is on her side. The Royal Children's Hospital in Melbourne, Australia have never come across it and Ebony is considered 1 of 20 children in the world (known to Peter Mac) to have this. So she is now under the Royal Children's Hospital and Peter Mac. Ebony went through IVF because we do not know if the treatments will affect her fertility. She is on a combination of Chemo (tablet form) and Targeted Radiation. This radiation comes from Holland. She has been told that she may face up to a life of treatments and may even "Live" with cancer!
The reason we have started this Go Fund me account is because in September of this year (2016) Ebony's mother was also diagnosed with cancer. Her cancer is a different kind to Ebony's.  The family are now starting to struggle as they have now been reduced to one income. They have a mortgage and Ebony has now turned 18 and along with her mother,  are about to go into another round of chemo treatments. Ebony's is on going and her mum's  is to go for approximatly the next 4 months, we think!  Ebony's mum has already had her left lung completely removed - We really do not know what is around the corner!  Any help/assistance would be greatly appreciated. We feel cheeky asking for help but we have to be in it to try!  Thank You for any help that you may be able to provide as the family would also like to donate monies to the various foundations that are also working so hard to help them. For the record, Ebony has received support from our local town but the family did not and now that Ebony's mum has been diagnosed, the help is definately required/appreciated.
