Hello! My name is Darsey Fondell. I am a friend of Sherry Brix! I have known Sherry for 17 years. She is currently a paraeducator with the Davenport Community School District. Asking for help isn't an easy thing to do, but here I am hoping this reaches many people that will find it in their hearts to help.

On Monday, May 12, 2025, a grease fire broke out in Sherry's home. She bought her dream home just 8 months prior. She had just installed new flooring and was excited to invite family and friends over to swim.

The main floor of the home was destroyed from the fire and smoke damage. She has been sleeping in a camper until tonight on Memorial Day. She was finally able to stay in the basement.

Sherry has a high deductible. We are hoping to hit at least that amount. However, insurance doesn't replace the most basic needs.

Sherry has always been the first to jump in and help others. Every year she plays Santa for children in need and has thrown many fundraisers.
