Mike "Kito" Watson suddenly passed away on Friday, July 24, 2015. For those of us who knew Mike, he had the biggest heart and could make anyone smile. Sadly, his heart was unable to support him. He was a dear family man who was a great friend and companion to many.
Mike was blessed to have met his love, Christine, whom he married. Christine had a daughter, Amber, and together, Mike and Christine had Max. They had a close-knit family of four.
Needless to say this hasn't been the easiest last few years--but the family has stayed strong. Max was diagnosed with cancer and his care became a full time job. Christine stayed home to handle the plethora of appointments while Mike worked. The family, including the extended family, worked together to care for Max and support the family. Mike worked as many hours as he possibly could to keep finances going. Everyone was ecstatic when Max was said to be in the clear. Of course the expenses had piled up.
Mike's love for everyone whose path he crossed was always evident. Always the figher, he made it through and worked non-stop to support his family; never letting his other relationships fall to the side. He cared so much for everyone and he always showed it.
Mike's family and friends are devastated and it is an understatement to say that this was a loss. Please, if you can, help to support Kito's family with these new and unexpected expenses.
