Dear Friends & Family,
I wanted to reach out and let you know that we are fundraising to help Hector Cifuentes, a very good friend of our son James. Hector is a rising Sophomore at Greenwich High School. He is a very kind young man. He is smart, hard working, and a very good student.  As you may already know, this cause is very important to us. Hector’s mother, Vivianna Cifuentes, died suddenly in June this year. Recently diagnosed with a cerebral aneurysm, access to health care was difficult due to the COVID-19 situation and caused her untimely death. Hector and his mom emigrated from Guatemala in 2015 after his father died. Hector is now orphaned. In order for Hector’s aunt to obtain legal guardianship/adoption there will be significant legal fees for his new family. Furthermore, Hector will need to move to New Canaan to live with his aunt. The legal fees are more than the family can afford as well as living costs for this young man in his new life.  Would you be able to contribute to my fundraiser?
