Donations for the Johannes Family

I am a close friend and coworker of Kristin, Rob's sister. The recent loss of her brother Rob is heartwrenching to all those that knew Rob and/or any member of the Johannes family. For all those who are not familiar, the Johannes family has experienced the tragic loss of Tanya Johannes who passed away in November 2010 from SUDEP, Sudden Unexplained Death in Epilepsy. Now they are experiencing another loss, the loss of Rob Johnaness (age 27), due to a tragic accident Saturday, July 25, 2015. I cannot imagine the grief that they are enduring right now as a family and want to do anything I can to support them in their time of need.
I created this Go Fund Me as an attempt to raise donations to give to the family during this tragic time. Like many others I'm sure, I feel helpless not knowing how I can help support them during this difficult time. I am hoping these donations, at the very least, will relieve any additional stress on the family as they are grieving and can provide support towards service arrangements. Also, I do know that when Tanya passed they built a memorial pavillion and garden in honor of her memory. This is a sanctuary that the family and friends frequently gather together to share their ongoing love for Tonya. I'm hoping that with the money raised, they will also be able to build a similar memorial for Rob or add on to Tonya's memorial to create a space where they can honor and cherish his memory.
