Karen Clark Benefit Fund

The Karen Clark Benefit Fund is a new organization that just started this year. We will be applying for our 501 C3 later this year after we get through our first fundraiser event.  We are starting out by helping a member of our community to win her battle with Multiple Myeloma (and naming the fund after her) by raising funds to help pay for her chemo and dialysis treatments.  When she was diagnosed she wasn’t able to continue to work due to being a librarian in our local school district.  She couldn’t fight off the many sniffling noses she ran across.  After putting some thought into it we have decided to start a fund in her name with the hopes of being able to offer a scholarship in her school district for a member of the graduating class of 2016 and then continuing it every year after that.
