On April 1, 2014, Christy Tackitt received the news that all families pray not to hear. She was diagnosed with Stage IV Endo-Cervical Cancer.
Christy has been employed over 15 years for Kum & Go in Iowa and has lived in Iowa her entire life. Christy met her husband, Robert, through her younger brother, Andy. Andy tragically died in a car accident 13 years ago and Christy and Robert bonded over their loss and ended up falling in love. They have a 9-year old son Tylen and a 1-year old daughter Vada together.
Family and Friends:
As you can see we are holding 2 different benefits for Christy and
her family, one is in WI doing a golf 3 man scramble tournament in Danbury, WI and the other in her hometown of Chariton, which is going to be a carnival/dinner/auction. All of you have been invited to both of them. Today we are asking for all your help in making this a huge success, as the family is encountering various expenses.
But also if you are unable to make it to the benefits, we also have this wonderful website helping Christy with monetary donations as they will be aquiring various expenses.
