Here is her story in her own words...
Here’s my transparency... If I can give anyone hope . ❤️Feb 2015 I was diagnosed with Leukemia. I went on a natural homeopathic journey for healing..The Cancer cells slowed down but never went away.. I got complacent and the cancer cells began to get progressive so I had to prepare for chemo.. I had to have surgery to place my port in to get these chemicals into my body. They rolled me down to surgery got there and the Dr that was suppose to do the procedure was not doing it, he had assigned me another surgeon. This Dr looked as if he had just finished HS. I didn’t feel comfortable and I was having second thoughts but I didn’t say anything I just wanted it done and over. So went into surgery came out of surgery only to find while in recovery when they came to X-ray me I would have to go back in because he had mispositioned the port it was sitting on my heart.
From that moment forward I would periodically have problems with this port. It would work then it wouldn’t work. So that lead me having to eventually get it removed and a pick line in which later became infected and had to be removed..
Meanwhile I had been in and out of the hospital dealing with infections , fevers, infections and more infections. Too many times to count. It got to the point where I didn’t want to fight anymore I just wanted to give up and I did. I had peace that if it was my time to leave this earth I was ok because I didn’t want my family to continue to see me go in and out, in and out and I was tied. So I asked God to just let me go.
At this point I only had one more round of chemo. Well due to infections and hospital stays it took me almost 3 months to get my last round. Finally the last treatment THANK YOU GOD!! Now it’s over but I have no immune system so I start immune therapy and guess what back to the hospital I go. My body began to reject everything. I’m told they’ve done and tried everything ( my team of drs all specialists my only option at this point now would be a transplant because I have a chromosome 17p deletion and my prognosis didn’t look good. The cancer cells had become very aggressive in my bone marrow..
They did my work up tissue type and everything. They said the best match would be a healthy siblings or healthy parents. Was not and option for me, so now we have to look through the blood bank. Surely out 2.5 million people I will have a match. Well that didn’t happen. Meanwhile I’m on medicine to slow it down to buy time to find a donor..
And this is what GOD did for me. I could not find a donor out of 2.5 million people. This week new life was birthed out of hundreds of thousands babies being born (4) was a tissue match for me. Not 1 but (4). New life was brought forth, and this will give me life basically a rebirth for me. their umbilical cord tissue ( stem cells) type matched mines and I will have my transplant.. There are still people that have been waiting for months even years and haven’t got a match. I’ve only been on the donor list for a month. And now new life will be giving me life.. #nobodybutGod.
My pictures tell some of the story. Some from the beginning/middle and present. My story isn’t over yet. It’s a testament to God hearing and answering prayers, I’ve had so many laboring in prayer for me trusting God for my healing even when I didn’t have the strength, those prayers carried me. Faith is the substance of things hoped for and the evidence of things not seen. I had no way of knowing that 4 babies would come into this world to save my life.. This journey started in 2015 it’s now 2018. God is faithful and just to those who believe. I share this and my pictures to give someone hope and faith. There are so many people with a similar journey , it doesn’t have to be cancer it can be so many things with the world we are living in now. But I’m here to share what God has done for me and what he’s doing in my life with the prayer that it helps someone else. I want you to know that there’s hope for you. God can still heal. He’s no respecter of person. I still have something to do before the actual transplant takes place. But I receive the life and the Blessing that’s ahead for me. And to those four mothers that donated their babies umbilical cords to give life. My Prayer is that GOD BLESS your life and family with and abundance of overflow from this day forth and forever more. GOD Miracle!! Now You Understand My PRAISE!!! To GOD BE ALL THE GLORY from whom all Blessings Flow..#nobodybutGod #newlifecoming
Gods favor, goodness and love towards me is so overwhelming.. I’m so grateful words can’t express what I feel ❤️ I just want to share my testimony to give someone hope..
Andrunette’s transplant took place on January 11, 2019. With God’s grace and mercy, she’s doing well.
Continue to lift her up in prayer....
Sincerely,
Angela Smith Allen
