Hello friends and family, I have a lovely friend that needs some love and support and I know we can help her. This young lady is a 27-year-old Registered Nurse and was diagnosed 3 months ago with stage 4 renal cell carcinoma that has already spread to her lungs and brain. Her mother and I work together here in Charlotte and she's traveling back and forth to FL to her daughter to help with treatment and the care of her adorable grandkids. They are in the process of trying to move her up to Charlotte to get treatment closer to her mother for support, but she needs a lot of financial help to get her here with grandkids. She is missing work without any paid time off left so going unpaid, travel expenses, moving expenses, day care cost for the grandkids and rent. My heart breaks for her, she still shows up to work even with all this going on with a positive attitude care for patients. If there is anything you can help with I know she would greatly appreciate the support; this would take the financial stress off of her plate to be able focus on her daughter that is so sick and love on her grandbabies.
