a young mom becoming the best version of herself

Hi friends, my name is Amiya Locke and I am a young mom to my beautiful sweet baby boy JOY and we're currently living in a homeless shelter.

While I've been here at the homeless shelter I made the decision to just start recording because well, why not? This has been something I've desired for many years but never took the leap of faith because of fear. Becoming homeless and realizing you have no one but the family you've created is a feeling that I can't certainly describe but I'm sure there are others who could relate to my story and know that feeling. There's no room for fear and what ifs. I am living life for me and my baby to have a good life. My passion is to uplift, inspire and to bring joy and love to others by being unapologetically me. Shockingly I've received the opposite of what my old mindset use to be. I've received nothing but support and so much love from strangers on TikTok who don't even know me and words couldn't express how grateful and appreciative I am for everyone. I've never received so much love and support like this before in my life. I am making this go fund me to help me and my little family on our journey of homelessness to home, breaking free from childhood trauma to a life full of joy, love and peace. All money received will be used to help me become independent once again. The money will be used only for one or more of the following: furnishing our future home, anything JOY needs, a car for transportation and helping me with the education I need to become a licensed Esthetician. I am deeply grateful and appreciative for anything that you feel in your hearts to bless us. ANYTHING is a blessing and I'm so deeply thankful. God bless you and remember to think positive.
