Hello, my name is Celeste. I am doing this gofundme to help my daughter and son in law(with their permission). On Wednesday, September 17, my father in law had just unexpectedly passed away and I received a text from my daughter, Hannah, asking for me to pray for her husband, Trevor. I texted and then called to find out that had happened. It was not what I would have ever thought I would hear. They had gone to Airborne and Trevor was learning how to do a back flip. Trevor was successful a few times but was trying to perfect the landing. Then the unexpected happened. He had a bad landing. In an instant, their family’s world turned upside down.

Trevor was rushed to the ER. After countless tests and scans, doctors discovered he had fractured his L1 vertebrae — just millimeters away from hitting his spinal cord, which could have left him paralyzed. We are beyond grateful that the outcome wasn’t worse, but the journey ahead will be long and difficult.

Trevor now faces a tough road to recovery. The costs of ongoing doctor visits, possible rehabilitation, and other medical needs are uncertain, and the financial burden is already heavy. Right now, Hannah is the one working full-time to support their little family, while also caring for their sweet little boy, Jay, and helping Trevor with his recovery. This means she will likely need to take time off work to care for both Trevor and Jay — adding even more stress.

I decided to start this GoFundMe to help relieve some of that financial weight, so Hannah and Trevor can focus on what truly matters: Trevor’s healing and their family’s well-being. Any funds raised will go directly toward medical expenses, rehabilitation costs, and helping with basic needs during this challenging time.
