Hi everyone!
A difficult one to type up given my long-standing love affair with Guinness, but in the style of Gwyneth Paltrow and Chris Martin I've decided to embark on a conscious uncoupling with alcohol for the whole of 2023.
Most of you know I love a pint, but I said I'd start the year off by committing to doing some good, so with this year-long Sup Sabbatical I'll be raising money for two charities that are close to my heart: the Irish Cancer Society, and Pieta House.
Nearly every death in my family has been down to cancer, and there's far too many young people I know who've died by suicide, so my hope is that by raising some funds for these two great charities that I can play a very small part in making a difference.
If you're looking to donate, hopefully it's straightforward enough but give me a shout if you're having trouble (I already know my da will have to give me cash! We've only recently got him on WhatsApp... baby steps).
I'll be dropping a couple of updates throughout the year, where I'll no doubt be mentioning some lucid dreams I'm having at a bar drinking a pint of the black stuff. In the meantime, look after yourselves... and throw out the rest of that turkey, it'll probably make you very ill at this point.
