Healing for Christopher SanShin Russell

On October 11, 2021, our friend Christopher Sanshin Russell was drugged and assaulted by a stranger in Greensboro, NC, waking up bruised and disoriented in an unknown car with all his belongings stolen. He was brought to the hospital and stabilized and has since been experiencing severe mental health challenges including concussion symptoms, post-traumatic stress and depression in the wake of the assault. Sanshin’s friends are fundraising to pay for his medical expenses from the assault and to support his ongoing healing and recovery. Treatment for traumatic stress can be costly and we need your help to support Sanshin’s full recovery.  $12,000 will cover emergency medical bills from the assault ($6000) plus weekly therapy for a year  ($125 x  48 weeks= $6000). This treatment plan could have a life changing impact on SanShin and on the hundreds of lives he touches as ​​an activist and mindfulness teacher. Please consider contributing to his healing journey.
