Please help a Wounded Warriors injured dog

Hi, my name is Karen, and I am fundraising for my son

Sgt. David Traylor. My son is a veteran recently injured last August in the bombing in Kabul, Afghanistan. He has recently finished his service with the United States Marines and is waiting to start the Riverside Sheriffs academy. They got their German Shepard, Kylo on June 10th, 2022, from the Riverside animal shelter. They made them aware he did have abdominal surgery to be able to remove a testicle that didn't drop. They told them the sutures were dissolvable, and he had no infection. All of which were untrue. When they got him home, they noticed the sutures were red, inflamed, leaking, and covered in dirt from his kennel.There was in fact an infection hidden below the surface. The sutures were not dissolvable, and we're starting to cause abscesses. They then rushed him to the vet. He had sutures in not only one place but three that they were not told about. The infection started to eat his stomach lining. When they went in to get everything surgically removed, they found the other infection sight in his mouth. They had no prior knowledge to his mouth having anything wrong with it. The pound had lied and hid the fact that he had cavities/infections in his mouth. They were just going to euthanize him instead. They pulled the teeth without telling the, leaving the infection. It then started to eat away at his jaw bone, leaving teeth connected to nothing. He has now gotten teeth pulled and infection cleaned out but still needs more surgery to be able to heal in a healthy safe way. Since my son is in between leaving his Military service and starting the Sheriffs academy, money is very tight at the moment. My son is a hero and im hoping there will be people willing to see his need and help. Thank you for your time and God Bless.
