Hey everybody, Jack here.

I’m pleased to announce this fundraising campaign for "A Warm Body."

As a filmmaker, I'm inspired by the people I have worked with on set and in the cutting room. I'm excited to create a warm, welcoming environment for everyone involved in this project.

Fund Raising Background info:

My team and I initially planned to shoot at my grandmother's apartment.

You see, my grandmother (Marnie) is suffering from dementia and recently started living in an elder care faculty after having a major fall.

After careful consideration, the idea of shooting a movie in her home did not sit right with me, my family and my crew.

The money we are raising here will pay for locations, our talented cast, crew, crafty to feed everybody, and an epic soundtrack.

The only thing holding us back now is our shoestring budget. EVERY dollar counts!

I wrote this script before my grandma's first significant fall. But now I’m seeing similarities between my story and my family's reaction to our new reality. This is why all money we raise here that doesn't go to the making of this movie will be donated to the Alzheimer's Association, which helps fund research and care.
