Help Bec give Cancer the boot

Hey guys so as you all know Bec has had a pretty tough journey the past two years.

After being diagnosed, she underwent a 6 week round of treatment that entailed daily radiation, and two 5 day rounds of chemo around the clock.

The cancer continued to spread.

She then underwent another 6 week round of treatment, that basically entailed the same as the first, only with different drugs. This meant more side effects.

She had major, life changing surgery back in November, where they removed more than they’d expected. She has been adjusting to her new life with a stoma (and nailing it I might add).

She started oral chemo, but after yet more follow up scans and tests, was told it wasn’t working.

She was told her only option left was to undergo Immunotherapy, which she commenced 3 weeks ago. This treatment so far, has seemed to be the hardest on her body.

She is sick. She is in pain. Every day.

So here we are, with no options left in western medicine, so Bec is looking at complimentary and alternative therapies. But as we know, these come at a huge cost to the patient. The loss of Bec’s wage, on top of daily medication costs, means that accessing these services at this time just isn’t an option for her.

We, Bec’s family, are asking all the people in our lives, and hers, to chip in whatever they can afford, to support Bec, Dave and the girls.

Money raised will help with the cost of running the Bradfield house, and give Bec the option to access other forms of therapy.
