Hi, my name is Marcus Mahone my son Jayden and I are looking for help to lay my wife Crystal rest. We lost her 12/27/2021 Monday night early Tuesday morning due to cardiac arrest while asleep. After i had returned from work Monday night @7pm my wife Crystal, complained of back pain and her speech was a bit off. I didn't think much of it asked I her did she fall or something she replied no so i moved on to our son. I'd been working all week and was a bit tired, so I feed Jayden, our son had him shower then told him to head to bed. Just before heating up my wife some pizza, I told her to sit down for a bit and eat. Maybe that would help, I headed to lay down watch some YouTube and, fell asleep she woke me up after while said it didn't hurt as bad, but could I rub her back for a minute, I groaned no I'm tired (Wich I now am kicking myself for not doing it now) but if mine hurting I'd just lay on the floor for a minute. She said damn it and walked away i dozed off back asleep. Around 2am i woke up turned off the TV saw she was laying on the floor, I woke her told her to get in the bed. She groaned OK so i got back in the bed and fell asleep again. At some during the night my son awoke came in our room and covered her up and slept on the floor next my wife Crystal's side on the bed. I awoke to Jayden grabbing his phone that i had taken from him the night before when I told him to go to bed. I got up saw that my wife was still on the floor sleeping, and she grabbed her blanket, later finding out my son had covered her up, when he came in that night. I figured I'd let her sleep for a bit longer, so Jayden and I sat out on the back porch he and I later graded some food went back out to the porch ate and played on his game he gotten for Christmas. He and I had been playing for a while and I remember thinking damn she must have been tired if she is sleeping this late. I then told my son I've got to get ready for work he said its Tuesday your off today right. I let him know yes but i have a few interviews to do then I'd be back, and we could play on the game again before i cut the yard. I then went to wake Crystal my wife and that's when I found out she wasn't sleeping, and something was very wrong with her. I started to freak out called 911 and did CPR till EMTs arrived. By this time my son has realized I'm screaming at the operator on the phone he came in and saw what was happing. I told him to go open the door to let the EMT's in when they arrive.
Needless to say, this had become the worst day of our lives, and would always be the day he and I would never forget. Guys we were not the best family, but we loved each other, and would do our best with what we had. My wife would move a mountain, with all of her GOD given 4"9in might to help anyone in need. She Didn't have to know you but could always tell if something was wrong with you no matter who. She would give someone 100% of the time she could spare and 20% of time to help someone in need. Crystal was 42 years young that day on Dec. 27. She was 30 days away from turning 43 she had her own health issues and would put them aside to help someone when they needed it. Now Jayden and I am asking for your help in our time of need. We have been so lost these past few days without Crystal and miss her soooooo much. He and I thank you for reading our post taking the time to hear our tragic story Thank You.
