The Situation

Life has thrown unimaginable challenges at Cain Velasquez. The son of migrant farm workers, he grew up following the crops and living in extreme poverty. Through discipline and heart, he rose to become one of the greatest UFC heavyweights in history, later transitioning into Lucha Libre and ultimately becoming a WWE Superstar.

Known throughout his career for his kindness and humility, Cain faced a devastating family tragedy in 2021 when his son was targeted by a sexual predator. He did what any parent would do first. He alerted the authorities and trusted the justice system to protect his child. When that system failed him, Cain made a decision he immediately regretted and took full responsibility for. He was ultimately sentenced to five years in prison.

In the aftermath, the MMA community responded in overwhelming numbers, offering support, compassion, and love to a man facing an incredibly complex and painful situation.

Now, as he prepares to return home, Cain is determined to rebuild not just for himself, but for his family and for the community that stood by him through every storm.

A Welcome Home Gift From the World to Cain

For years, supporters asked how they could meaningfully show Cain that he was not alone. Beyond letters and words of encouragement, there was little that could be done.

Recently, we discovered that Cain’s dream car, a 1971 Ford Torino, has been sitting mostly forgotten in a warehouse in California. A restoration project that began nearly a decade ago was never completed as life got in the way.

The opportunity to show Cain the love we have long wanted to express is now before us: restoring his dream car to its original glory, with a touch of Cain Velasquez flair.

How You Can Help

Your support will go directly toward restoring the 1971 Ford Torino as a welcome home gift to Cain upon his release in 2026.

Why It Matters

Cain has always been a fighter. This time, the fight is about healing and redemption. By contributing, you are not just helping restore a car. You are reminding a father who risked everything for his family that he was never alone, and that compassion still surrounds him.

Every donation, no matter the size, is our gift of compassion and love for one of humanity’s kindest and most gentle souls.

Thank you for your unwavering support.
