A WELCOME FOR EVACUEE FAMILIES

A committee of HS students are putting together Welcome Kits for the evacuee families currently staying at Camp Atterbury. These will include:

Water bottles

Covid supplies (masks, hand sanitizer, etc.)

Dari/English dictionary

State map

City maps

Hats

Gloves

Scarves

Hijab Scarves

Socks

Washkit

First Aid kit

sewing kit

Laundry Soap

Kitchen Starter kit - tea bags, coffee, sugar, salt, pepper

silverware sets

Puzzles

Colored pencils

Little notebooks

Gift coupons

The supplies will be packed in a backpack that can be used for school. We estimate each kit will cost $85.00 (for a family of four) and are hoping to raise enough for at least 200 families.
