A week on the Severn

Do you want to join me in making a difference? I'm raising money in aid of British Lung Foundation by kayaking the length of the river severn on my own and wild camping and every donation will help. Thank you in advance for your contribution to this cause that means so much to me.

As most of you know my mom suffered with COPD (chronic obstructive pulmonary disease) as did my auntie and my dads best friend, all of which eventually succumbed to this horrific lung disease, unfortunately my dad has now also been diagnosed with it, I also know many other people that have been diagnosed too. This is such a close thing to me watching the people I love go through such horrendous debilitating and life limiting condition where as there is no cure other than a lung transplant, which is often not an option because of the rapid weight loss caused by the disease, obstructing the chances of survival from such a massive operation, so it is my mission to raise money to help find a cure or slow down the disease progression with treatment.

Our research finds new treatment and cures. We help people who struggle to breathe to take control of their lives. And together, we're campaigning for better lung health.
